Death of Telemarketing?
There is much talk in the marketing community that cold calling and telemarketing will become too costly, cumbersome and not a valuable way to generate new sales with changes being made to the Do Not Call register.
Do you agree? Do you use telemarketing as a way to generate new business? I know that when I was a ‘Marketing Manager’ I didn’t have time for cold calls. Are there examples of industries that are doing well through cold calling and telemarketing? I am interested in your thoughts – drop me a line.
